Duarte has over 5 years of experience as legal advisor to several top tier investment funds, Private Equity firms, Venture Capital funds and startups.

Admitted lawyer in New York and in Portugal, has worked in several jurisdictions and has advised in dozens of cross border transactions, fundraising processes, financing agreements and all kinds of investing agreements.

Duarte holds a LL.M. from Cornell Law School and a bachelor in law from Universidade Católica Portuguesa, and he’s the founder of PHUNK, the #1 beverage startup in Portugal.
